The Central Florida Winds is a non profit organization formed in Brevard County, Florida in 1999. The group comprises mostly non-professional, but amazingly gifted musicians, from throughout the whole of Florida.

The mission of the ensemble is to provide the opportunity to perform an exceptional and diverse range of classical musical repertoire.

Performing free concerts (donation appreciated) approximately three times per year, in spring, summer and fall, Central Florida Winds performs a mix of popular, and rarely heard wind band music.

An offshoot of Central Florida Winds, the Central Florida Chamber Winds, performs approximately twice per year, in spring and fall.
