My name is Amy Lombardo and I play the french horn.
Music:
I actually started on trumpet in elementary band when I was in fourth
grade. After two years on trumpet, my director urged me to try out the
french horn and it stuck, apparently. I continued playing french horn
through middle school, high school and also at Brevard Community College.
I didn't major in music and do not have a formal music education, but my love for the french horn has kept me playing in various area groups including the Brevard Community Band, the Space Coast Horn Club and currently the Central Florida Winds.
Work:
I work as a graphic designer at the Kennedy Space Center.
Play:
My husband and I are avid cyclists and spend time together road biking
and mountain biking as often as possible. I also enjoy playing tennis,
reading and shopping.
