Kenny Subrin is currently attending Florida State University, were he is continuing to follow his love of music, as a composition and performance major.

Kenny attended Palm Bay High School, at which time he received recognition each year for his superior ratings at the District and State level for his Solo and Ensemble performances.

Kenny competed as a student conductor several times, which also garnered him superior ratings.

While his love for music lies mainly with classical repertoire, Kenny was actively involved with the Palm Bay Pirates Marching Band as a section leader and drum major.

He currently holds a leadership position with the Florida State Marching Chiefs.

Kenny was also an active member of the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra and Central Florida Winds during his high school tenure.

Kenny plays several instruments including saxophone and clarinet, but his primary focus is on flute and piccolo.

As a full time student Kenny is no longer a full time Central Florida Winds member, but continues to be as involved as possible, hoping to give back to the organization in the years to come, all that it has given to him.
